The standard GA install is currently tested again some 40 odd OS / version alternatives. For how little I'm using this VM, and for future reference, are there any lighter weight Linux distributions preloaded with VirtualBox GUEST drivers or set up to very easily install them at setup time? Host is Win10. It is intended for new installations only an existing Arch Linux system can always be updated with pacman -Syu. 3 the use of shared folders in a Linux Guest VM is broken. Not everybody has a high-end computer but 2 CPU Cores with 2-4 GB of RAM and a 20 GB HDD is enough.
Pacman, a package manager for Arch Linux, is available in Artix as well. xinitrc has: sudo VBoxClient-all & sudo systemctl start vboxservice. Note: Xorg can be very slow with 3D Acceleration enabled.
The dialog box indicates "full" access and "auto-mount".
